Congratulations Graduates!

On April 22, the SafeLIGHT Foundation held a graduation ceremony for the inaugural class of Teen Ambassadors.

SafeLIGHT Chairwoman Nikki Zollar was joined by board members Jill Williams, Al Lopez and Patrick Cage as well as program partners Marion Shuck from Gift of Hope, Dan Lietz from Donate Life Illinois and Donna Bilski, Metro Driver’s Education Liaison for the Illinois Secretary of State.

In addition to scholarships for all Teen Ambassadors, a special recognition award, the Beacon of Light Award, was presented to three students, Alejandro Davila, Robert Lane, Jr. and Aliana Negron for their leadership and strong commitment to the program. They led their peers during the biweekly meetings and contributed creative ideas and energy to all the assignments.
