Law Enforcement Cares
The SafeLIGHT Foundation supports law enforcement personnel by providing grants to individuals and families in need of financial assistance or additional resources as a result of family members' injuries, illnesses or deaths due to traffic accidents or incidents in the line of duty. The SafeLIGHT Foundation provides grants to organizations and charitable groups that focus on addressing traffic or law enforcement needs or veterans’ issues.
Eligibility
Grant recipients must demonstrate a serious need. A serious need may exist where, as a result of a traffic accident, there has been a fatality, a person has been injured and is unable to work, a person has developed a chronic illness, or a person has been hospitalized. A serious need may also exist where a family member of a fallen law enforcement officer or a traffic accident victim lacks the means necessary to cover basic necessities because a deceased or hospitalized family member’s income stream is no longer available.
