A Prom Date With Safety

The SafeLIGHT Foundation’s Teen Ambassadors hosted a town hall meeting with their peers at Southland College Prep Charter High School in Richton Park on April 20 to share information about the risks and responsibilities associated with teen driving. With the school’s prom scheduled for May, they wanted to remind students of the importance of being responsible drivers.

Teen Ambassadors Robert Lane, Jr., Kharma Edwards, Brandon Hamer and Braden Hamer created a powerpoint presentation and led their fellow students through a discussion and quiz on the concepts.

The presentation was held during two lunch periods and more than 100 students attended.
